Kingfisher or Jet Airways (Mumbai to Cochin)
At last I get to book my tickets and have just one more decision to make. Should I fly with Kingfisher or Jet on the Mumbai-Cochin leg of my journey. Thanks!

Hi Diana.
Both Kingfisher and Jet are top-notch full-service airlines. You won't go wrong with either of them but you'll pay for the experience as you won't find many "deals" with either of them. For price (and if you schedule allows as there is only one flight in each direction) try GoAir: they're cheap (most often the cheapest on the route) and cheerful but definitely "no-frills"! Have fun. |

I will go for Kingfisher if the price difference is not too much between the two..

Jet are OK. I've never flown Kingfisher but everything I've read suggests they are Cheap & Best.

Really? You surprise me. When I was looking at flights from Delhi to Varanasi in December a while back, Jet were coming up at Rs20,000-something and Kingfisher Rs8,000=something. Edit- checking again they both come out pretty similar.
Spicejet were super cheaper. But, from what I read, Kingfisher are bester. ![]() I've just done an experiment: Delhi - Varanasi dep. 19 Jan, returning 21 Jan Kingfisher: Rs10,135 Jet: Rs12,100 Not super cheap, but cheaper. I can't check the Mumbai - Kochi route with Jet because they don't do e-tickets to Kochi. OK, based on that I will retract my former statement and amend it to: if the prices aren't very different, which they don't appear to be, Kingfisher gets my vote because my experience with Jet was OK, whereas I hear mostly glowing reports for Kingfisher. That's probably more fair. If I'm honest I just wanted to say Cheap & Best. It makes me smile. ![]() |
