Jet lite

anyone flown with them before? How were your experiences? I have just found some amazingly chepa flights from Delhi to Kochi in November. I THINK i have booked them - no confirmation e mail has come through though and money hasn't yet gone out of my bank (was only yesterday afternoon), but i do have a confirmaiton page at the end of the transaction saved. Staus does show as confirmed. Plus I'm slightly worried that i have booked it twice but not had any e mails back from them yet.

Any advice from anyone?

Many thanks

I have travelled by JetLite recently. What I suggest is you take the PNR/Confirmation number and check the status of it here:

https://www.virtuallythere.com/new/h... st=S2&error=6

If it shows confirmed your ticket is Certainly valid..

guys - a tip when you are booking for flights or anything that involves paying online in india , try and use Internet explorer preferably not the latest version. All this software is locally built and I can assure you that majority of it is tested on IE... some ppl havent even heard of firefox ...so you can never really be sure that it works on other browsers.

well i'm about 90% done to getting it sorted. I had booked it twiceDidn't receive any confirmation e mails or e tickets but tracked down an e mail for Jet Lite and they've actually been helpful( if very slow!!). Excess booking is now cancelled and i'm just waiting for the refund to show in my account.
Unfortunately as they charge you in dollars i'm gonna be down by about £3 - 4 due the £ deciding it was gonna get stronger against the $ in the meantime!! damn

Front-End/Webgate maybe - the back end of all reservations system is non-locally built

I have travel led Bangalore to Delhi 3 yrs back when the service was called Air Sahara - liked my experience.

Not too sure how the service is after take over.

That time for close to 4000 rupees the flight included in flight meals - again not sure whether its the same case now.

My brother recently traveled by Goair and was happy with their service , so based on that I have done my recent Delhi booking via Go Air....once back I can state how their service is

With Go Air, please be aware that they have one of the highest flight cancellation rates. YMMV ofc. Weekend etc dates would be more reliable. Indigo/Spicejet are preferable anyday

Not sure if OP is still interested, but I'd avoid Jet Lite. My only bad experiences w/ Indian domestic air travel has been with the really low-budget carriers - Jet Lite, and Kingfisher Red. The other airlines are so incredibly reasonable and well-run that personally I'd avoid Jet Lite. My 2 cents, or however many paise that comes out to!

Very recently flew Jetlite Nagpur - Mumbai. My great concern was punctuality as I had to catch an intercontinental flight from Mumbai. There was only a delay of 15 min so everything went fine.

Ground staff is very friendly. I find everything "Jet" (Jetairways, Jetlite) uncomfortably cramped. I never quite understood the initial craze about Jetairways, the parent company. And is there any worse website?

I love Spicejet and Indigo.

Please dont scare me , my booking for Leh trip is completley booked in Go Air

12th June to Delhi
13 June to Srinagar
26/27 back to Cochin

I will keep my fingers crossed and hope they don't do a flight cancellation

My schedule is too cramped to afford such issues.
