I used them to get to Bangalore from Delhi and am pretty impressed. Firstly, the female employees are very pretty. I wonder if it is a requirement? Also, they have very nice voices. The lady doing the flight calls in Delhi was almost musical. The cabin crew was attrative too - and the stewards were handsome young men.
They were also very efficient about getting passengers onboard and we left on time. Every activity was purposeful and deliberate. The cabin crew knew their business.
A meal was served and I found it very tasty. Back when US airlines served food inflight it was almost inedible.
So this was definitely a "class act". American Airlines ought to study this operation and maybe their domestic US service would improve. They fly a nonstop to my frequent destination but I feel they take my business for granted.

Yes.
the crew is supposed to be pretty.
Over a period of time, they become like plastic - with plastic smiles.

I agree with beach. Jet is a great airline, Kingfisher is attempting to make it a no-brainer in providing superior service.
We took Jet Airways from Mumbai to Goa return and also were very impressed..Wasn't really looking at the female employees..but if i do remember they were above average looking women!! For such a short flight we were given candy, then lemon water and then a really good meal..Barely had enough time to eat it all..

No, not flown with them as I usually fly Air India (the airline I work for!!!) but they have an Airbus 340 which flies on the Mumbai - London sector. The only other direct flights are with British Airways and Air India. The rest all have a stop over somewhere or the other and some for a pretty long time too in the Middle East region.Cheers,
Aadil.

Singapore Airlines is still the gold standard for aesthetically pleasing flight crews.

Actually Mumbai has two more airlines flying this route directly. BMI (British Midland) and Virgin Atlantic. Apart from New York, Mumbai is the only city which is connected to London-Heathrow by 5 different airlines.Air India (2 daily)
British Airways (2 daily)
Jet Airways (2 daily)
Virgin Atlantic (1 daily, soon to be 2)
BMI (5 weekly)
Jet is the far superior choice to fly considering their service.
My first time with Jet Airways in March this year.
A very pleasant experience, so good I have booked another flight for this coming Tuesday...Au Revoir

rab
Rab, thanks for letting me know about Virgin Airlines and the treatment of their older employee's, no way will I fly with them, the only thing one has to do to get old is live long enough,
why the treatment
we are all on the same train going in the same direction, some on the engine, in the middle and some on the caboose, but all going on the same journey, and to the same end. No
