Jet Airways- Kochi-Mumbai

What is the going rate for a 1 way flight from Kochi-Mumbai in mid- March and how long in advance will I need to book?

I tried Jet airways website but no e-tickets available on flights to/from Kochi.

I was able to get a price listed on itasoftware.com for $93US which is a good price, but this site does not sell tickets. When I took the information to a local travel agent that deals in India travel the lowest he pulled up was $196 one way. He checked with Jet and they said the $93 ticket is for Indian nationals only. The travel agent suggested waiting until I get to India, that I might find it cheaper and that March won't be very crowded.

Ive had a similar problem. Im booking New Delhi to Udaipar, Udaipar to Kochi via Mumbai (no choice) and then Kochi back to Mumbai. I cant do it online because the Kochi leg does not appear in jetaairways dropdown menu - weird.

Not sure how many flights you are taking but...after consulting with 2 separate travel agents in nyc I found it was a full $200 cheaper ($650 vs $450) to buy the 4-leg open ticket than to buy a point to point.

All I'm doing is one flight COK-BOM. I'm on the train the rest of the time.
What travel agents did you use?

I have no affiliation and have not used either of these agents. They were reccomended to me by a friend-of-a-friend who is Indian and travels frequently to the homeland.

Chandaru (212) 629-3060 - near Penn Station
Vippon (212)867-5555 - near Grand Ctrl (have agency in Delhi)

Thanks for the info. I got the ticket through Vipin Sharma. The phone number above is correct. His e-mail address is vipin@newairways.com. The address is 501 5th Ave. Suite 611 NY,NY 10017. He was very helpful and mailed me the tickets a few days after ordering them on the phone.

Good to hear. Ironically, I purchased 2x 4 segment tickets on Jetairways from Vipon TODAY.
Delhi to Udaipur
Udaipur to Mumbai
Mumbai to Kochi
Kochi to Mumbai
Total - $400
