Jagson Airlines in December: Delhi to Shimla I enquired about domestic flights from Delhi to Shila on 24 December 2007 and notice that Jagson Airlines and Air Deccan flies the route. Can anyone give me some feedback on these flights - which of the two evils are the better (and more reliable if that is possible)?

Book Deccan now. I've struggled to find if Jagson still exist, I've tried airline forums, news searches, the only thing I found was that they hadn't called at Chandigarh for a whole week, it's really weird. They probibly do still exist and maybe they still operate the Delhi-Shimla route, but they don't give me any confidence at all. Their website is little more than a joke about dreams and ideas, as for real time info, forget it.

Thanks Steven - must say that I enquired via e-mail to Jagson and they were quite fast to respond, but could offer no guarantees that they will fly on the 24th.... for reasons like, technical difficulties and bad weather. They however assured me that I would be refunded all money paid if they cancell the flight, but that would not be any use to me as we will still be stuck in Delhi! Thanks for the help.

It's good to know they still exist. There is a high chance that fog will cause problems on 24th December. Ask Jagson if their pilots have special Delhi airport licence, I can't remember what there called, but there is special training for Delhi airport is poor weather conditions, pilots who don't have the certificate are not allowed to fly to/from Delhi when these poor conditions set in. Last year, only the big airlines made sure their pilots had the licence.
