Hi,

Could anybody please tell me the best means of transport to Indore from Hyderabad?

I'm even ready to go by flight. Flight details, if any included, would be appreciated.

Dear Wanderer,
From Mumbai, there are two flights to Indore operated by Indian Airlines - one is daily (Dep/Mumbai/6.15hrs.) and one is tri-weekly (**WED/FRI/SUN

ep/Mumbai/18.55 hrs.)

The Jet Airways also operates two daily flights from Mumbai to Indore at 6.10 hrs. and 18.45 hrs.

From Hyderabad, the first flight to Mumbai is at 6.00 hrs. operated by Jet Airways.

From Hyderabad, there is an after-noon flight to Mumbai which departs from Hyderabad at 16.00 hrs. and reaches Mumbai at 17.15 hrs. and this flight runs daily.

So,you can travel 'comfortably by Air' from Hyderabad to Indore with change-over in Mumbai, provided, if you choose Indian Airlines from Hyderabad to Mumbai AND Jet Airways from Mumbai to Indore.

Thanks VSP ... that helps me a lot. I wonder how the flight ticket prices would be and if there is any travel agency that can provide tickets at a cheaper rate !

Finally, I would appreciate if you let me know some web sites for cheap inter-state travel in India.

Dear Wanderer,
The Nagpur-Indore Train is available only on two days in a week. (MON/SAT :19.15>>>7.25(TUE)/6.30(SUN)
Moreover, the Hyderabad-Nagpur Flight frequency is MON/FRI (10.30>>>11.30) AND TUE/SAT (8.20>>>9.20)

Y-Class (or) Economy Class:
Cost-wise: Hyderabad-Mumbai>>>Rs.6610 + Mumbai-Indore>>Rs.4970 =Rs.11,580/-.
................
Hyderabad-Nagpur>>>>Rs.5490 + NGP-INDB/3AC by Train..Rs.737/- =Rs.6227/-.

But at the same time, you can even take Rajadhani Express (does not run on Saturdays) OR A.P. Express (runs daily) from Hyderabad to Nagpur and then take the Indore Train on Mondays/Saturdays instead of "spending time" in Nagpur Airport.
