How to keep track of cheap air tickets?

Most airline cos keep on releasing cheap tickets periodically. Some airline cos gives adv. in newspapers e.g. Air Deccan. But by the time the newspaper reaches you, most of the cheap tickets are already sold. Normally fresh tickets are released early morning.

Once we got information from friends that Air Deccan is going to release fresh tickects on a particular day; we all woke up and hooked on to their website from 5:30 am and were able to book around 10 tickets for Re. 1 INR (+ Rs.221 tax) .

But such information are hard to get. Are there any IMers (may be employees of airline cos or travel agents) who gets such updates before in advance? Or in case some IMers stumbles upon very low fares, can we inform others?

It's a different question why should someone share the info, but still posting this thread.

Yes...I got the Mumbai Goa for around Rs.300 + Taxes on Deccan, Indigo and Go Air..

I was looking for end of this month...

I also got Delhi-Mumbai Rs.500 + Taxes for 28th sep on Deccan...

Goa - Delhi Rs.2000 + taxes 3rd Oct on Spicejet..
