How is SpiceJet?

I am thinking of taking SpiceJet from Mumbai - Goa.
How are they?
They have the lowest prices anywhere that I have seen.

Only 5880.00 INR total for 2 people round trip.

thanks

Hi, I flew on spicejet 4 days ago from Delhi to Mumbai, and it was nice. The flight was on time, and the aircraft was clean and brand new. Bring your own food for a long flight as they only give you a small bottled water.

I haven't flown yet, but reserving a ticket on-line with them was a piece of cake. (especially compared with my Indiarail experience)

I have flown twice with them in the past month and they are pretty good. The flight from Delhi to Goa was 3 hours delayed though but that happens sometimes with all the domestic airlines. Mumbai to Goa was perfect no probs. You really dont need food for the 1 hour flight from Mumbai to Goa and on the Delhi flight they served us sandwiches and beverage. All in all a good deal.

spicejet is much better than deccan and stuff..
have travelled 5 times thru spice and once thru deccan. deccan got delayed, spice always flew on the right time

they provide a small mineral water bottle, toffes and a small pack of snacks (say chips/peanuts/biscuts)

go ahead, u will enjoy..

ps: i am 6 feet tall and i did find the seats just a bit cramped (this is the case with other budget flights too)

Booking on-line

When you book your ticket for Spicejet on the internet but from Europe,
where and how do you get the flyingticket?

Do you print them out of your computer or what?

And one more thing - is it easy to change your flight date after you have paid the ticket? They seem to charge 500rs for the change.

There is one more new entrant to the aviation field in India called GoAir and they also have similar fares (even cheaper in some cases depending on when you book and some free tickets too!!!) Check them out too as they are all with new aircraft and good for a begining airline. No food on a one hour flight is not such a big deal anyway. As long as the fare is less it is fine if they get you safely and on time to your destination.

Cheers,
Aadil.

They were fine. No food served but who cares. The quality of service, plane etc was quiet fine.
