Help needed - Mumbai int to domestic transfer on Spicejet

Hello,

I need advise. I am planning to arrive at the BOM Int airport next month at 00:40, and my connecting flight from Domestic airport on Spicejet will be at 08:30. I will have a lot of luggage (in business class), but Spicejet does not have Int terminal transit desk for luggage check-in. Therefore, I will have to manage the luggage transfer to domestic terminal myself.

Do they have luggage carts that I can use at the Int Terminal upto the shuttle bus? ... and also at the Domestic terminal from the shuttle bus? Are there any lounges that I can pay for to use for a few hours at the Domestic terminal?

Of course they have airport luggage trolleys.

There are plenty of "helpers" only too happy to assist you with your luggage on and off the transfer coach for a suitable gratuity. Your problem is more likley to be that you may not be permitted to enter the domestic terminal until a couple of hours before the 08:30 flight. I would suggest asking the staff at the international terminal on arrival what time they would recommend you transfer to the domestic terminal.

Thanks. I guess the pain would be to keep my luggage with me for the transfer and before checking in. Is there a lounge at the International arrival area?

I read that there is Clippers Lounge (open 24 hours) at the domestic terminal that I can use by paying Rs 300 or 500. Is that true?

well, I just found info on Left Luggage Storage facility at the Mumbai airport. They can also transfer the luggage between the terminals. So, I guess, that would be a better option for me for a heavy bag, instead of struggling to carry it with me to the domestic airport and keeping it with me for a few hours before the check-in.

Is this current? I understood the left luggage facility at International terminal had closed as a security precuation after the bombings. Recent up to date infromation would be very welcome.
