Help me booking a ticket at makemytrip.com
Hi,
I want to book a ticket from Delhi to Goa at www.makemytrip.com. I've already registered. After I have paid with my Visa card do they send the e-ticket to my e-mail account? I don't have a printer back home so I cannot print the ticket immediately. Can I do it for example next week when I am with friends? So when I buy the ticket while I am still in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, do I have to reconfirm the domistic flight in India and how many hours/days before departure? How do I know if something has changed about the flight for example a delay or cancellation?
I saw on the website on top of the page on the right 'print E- ticket'. So if I fill in my e-mail and booking account number I can print the ticket. Can I also print the ticket just before I leave for India and not after booking it? I don't have a printer back home so that means that I have to go to some friends to print it. Please help me out for I want to book this Delhi-Goa ticket today. I read as well that it's possible to go online with one of your employees and that he/she can help you booking the ticket. How does that work? Hope that some one can help me out. I've already mailed to makemytrip.com, but they didn't reply my mail yet. Thanks!

Nathalie - 'your employees' I take it you mean 'their employees' as in Make My Trip?? How does it work? Why don't you try it out and see - I've been 'online' with a Microsoft employee one time re a small problem, and it's quite simple. for the ticket, yes, they would send it to your email. If it looks like it appears on your page and ready for printing and not going to be sent to email, then save it into your Documents, and then send it to yourself. Later you can print it out when you get to your friend's place.
Maybe someone who has used makemytrip for ticket bookings might be able to help. I haven't so far.

Hi Nathalie,
You can print the e-ticket any time you want after the booking. You can print the e-ticket e-mailed to you or you can retrieve the booking on makemytrip and re-print from the website
All that is need is the Date and Time of departure and the booking reference number (of the airline).
No re-confirmation is required for domestic flights within India. If you want to enquire about the flight status, the best method would be to call up the airlines a day before and on the day of travel for the exact departure time.
Cheers

you dont really even need the ticket at all. Just write down the PNR code and tell it to the staff at the airline counter at the airport, they will print you out a ticket.

That, indeed is an option, but I would not count on it. At best it can be relied upon if you have no other option of getting a printed copy. The security at the airport requires you to carry a printed ticket for letting you in

But the airlines always have an office outside the security area. I probably take 1-2 trips a month and this is what I always do. Usually my ticket is just an SMS from a travel agent that I show to the airline desk staff, but I have done it with makemytrip tickets also Thank you so much for all the information about booking the ticket at makemytrip.com. I am going to give it a try right now and if I am stuck again booking this domestic flight I will post a new thread again.
Help Asap!
I am in the middele of booking a domestic flight. I have to fill in this Visa card information. What is meant by CVV/4DBC Number'? Is this the number printed at the back of the card next to my signature. Please help me out. I never use my Visa card so that's why. Thanks!
