Good news from Air Deccan
Hi to all.
From december, 2004 Air deccan is starting few more flights from kochi. The first one to start is Kochi-Agathi. The second on the list is Kozhikode (Calicut) -Kochi-Trivandrum. There is a plan to start one flight from Kochi to Delhi as well one from Trivandrum to Delhi. (this is expected to start from Feb 2005). The expected price for the kochi -delhi is Rs 6500. Which is half the price of IA and other smiliar flight services. At the moment Deccan is having e around 70 flight services daily which will go up to 100 by end of december. Air Deccan rocks. I paid $100 for a round trip from Bangalore to Goa last year and for what would be consider a cheap fare in the west, the service wqas simply superb! The planes are really small though...

 I've been waiting for this and looks like it may well happen - although they are negotiating hard with Keralan Airports to substantially reduce their landing rates which are very high I beleive.. |
