Go Air
Has anyone tried Go Air yet? Can you book from outside the country? I can't seem to find on the internet site whether there is a discount for children under 12?

Thanks Dr Who. I have been to the website but I can't find anywhere where it talks about discounted fares for children?

Looks like this airline offers discounts only for children 2 years and below. From the airline's website, "GoAir offers adult fares. Infant's up to the age of 24 months will be charged Rs 50/- and will need to pay the Rs 221/- PSF (or as applicable at the time of booking), provided they don't occupy a seat." http://www.goair.in/include/charter.htm |

I wanted to book 2 tickets from Cochin to Mumbai but I get knocked back for not having a valid PIN number (which I understand is an Indian Post Code).
If I don't live in India, haven't yet booked my hotel etc, then how can I enter this information? Has anyone successfully booked with GoAir from the UK online? If so, then please tell me how! Thanks. |

GoAir
I booked a flight from Goa to Mumbai for April 14th from Canada. I just put in 11111 for the Zip Code because it didnt allow me to put letters in. Ive done that with pretty much all my online bookings, Air Deccan, Hotels Etc. I dont think there will be a problem, they dont need your address for anything anyways, they dont differentiate between foreigner and local.

I have been flying with them. Just enter a random zip code and select any Indian city you want in the drop down list. It does not matter. It is an eticket and they don't discriminate against foreigners.

Thanks for this!
The whole booking business feels like we're taking two steps forward and one step back! Constantly! |
