From Cochin to Bangalore!! Help!

Hello there peeps

Myself and friend are flying into Cochin, Thurs 31st, mid morning. We are going to be living with Shanthi (Shanthi streetkids) for around 2 months. So we need to get to Bangalore.

We were considering an Internal flight, if we could find a cheap one, as we need to get there ASAP. If not, is train the best way? If anyone has any info or links regards daily times from Cochin to Bangalore, time it takes etc, that would be brill

Any help would be brill x

Both Air Deccan http://www.airdeccan.net/airdeccan/home.asp and Kingfisher http://www.flykingfisher.com/ have daily flights from Cochin to Bangalore. Kingfisher seem incredilbly expensive compared to Air Deccan. Air Deccan also have a morning and evening flight.

Girls, I sent you an email this a.m. It had a very cheap flight from Kochi to Bangalore on it - and the schedule, the amount is for the two of you. Please find a cheap lodging for yourselves on the evening of 31st as the evening flight would not be a good idea and there is the next flight early morning on 1st as I have pointed out. The entire fare is less than 4000 and that is for the two of you!

Please also remember that there are NO facilities to change foreign currency locally here in Krishnagiri - best done in either Kochi or Bangalore before you come down. I still havent heard from you, so I've no idea which way you are chosing to come. Please DO let me know ASAP as I have to give as many days notice to our taxi-driver as possible - last minute requests are always a failure I'm afraid!

Please telephone me either today or tomorrow and let me know what is happening. Looking forward to seeing you.
