Foreigners booking through cleartrip.com?
Foreigners booking through cleartrip.com?
Hi everyone :-)
Long time reader, first time poster.
Great website...
Just a quicky- when we were in India in January 2008 we tried to book tix through cleartrip, our credit cards weren't accepted, so my Indian brother in law had to book on his Indian CC. Does anyone know if this is still the same? We're in Australia trying to book tickets for a trip to Kerala in Feb
Thanks so much :-)
Nina

I find that for security reasons, Mastercard will automatically decline any web transaction to an Indian site, or any retail transaction within India, unless I tell them in advance that I will be traveling to India and using Indian websites. Visa doesn't.
That's in Canada. Your mileage may vary.
