Jetlite is quite a safe airline to travel in. It was previously Sahara Airlines until Jet Airways bought it out. It has as its fleet Boeings and Airbus. They have some real cheap deals and you can also earn miles for your flight through the Jet Airways Frequent Flier Programme. The only problem that I find in JetLite is that it has less of leg space and does not have a good on time record. But the flights are not cancelled even if they are late. It is better than a Ryanair of Europe. Happy flying....

Flying is safe. The only issue is their ontime performance is not very good. there may be some delays.

We flew from Bangalore to Delhi last month without any problems. The price was right - about 5,000 rupees including taxes round trip.

Jetlite is part of the Jet airways group - same management, well run but low cost.

Jetlite - no safety issues. Jet airways owns and operates these flights.
They dont serve food or snacks in flight. You can buy it though. Dont be surprised if there are some delays - 30mts to 1 hour. All the best. |

Have flown Jetlite when it was Air Sahara it was a nice experience - not sure how its now under present management but I believe the planes would be the same and Yes its under Jet Airways management so has to be good at least safety wise.

In June, I had covered a 4.30 hr journey from Kochi to Delhi in 8 hrs. And more over no flight info at the Airport, even there was not a single staff of Airline to give info for flight at Security hold area. Although it was a One stop flight via Mumbai to Delhi, they forced us at Mumbai Airport for changing the Aircraft after sitting in the craft for 30mts. It was a very Bad experience and we reach Delhi around 3.30 in the morning.

I flew Go Air for the first time in July (Delhi-Mumbai) and was expecting the worst. I was surprisingly impressed though. They've really lifted their performance. And they have the newest fleet of planes in India. Hopefully, I didn't have a once-off good experience with them!!
