Flying from UK to Trivandrum?
How do I get from UK to Trivandrum? I just called a travel agent and they were completely useless! If anyone can let me know what airlines fly there or what connections are necessary to get there I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

the airlines serving Trivandrum are :
Air India, Air Maldives, Gulf Air, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways (India), Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, SilkAir, Srilankan Airlines according to this site: http://azworldairports.com/airports/p1750trv.htm If you can't find a direct flight with any of these, then flying via Mumbai would work. |

There are also direct charter flights, though there are restrictions with charter flights.
Jewel In The Crown is one such company. |

Take a look at http://www.traveljungle.co.uk
There are lots of flights to Trivandrum from London and Edinburgh, and the prices aren't bad either!

We flew to Trivandrum from Heathrow last December with Qatar Air. Thoroughly recommended. Stopped for an hour or so at Doha and changed planes. Gulf Air do it too. I think both also fly into Cochin, but TVM is great. Small, pretty quiet and just a 15 minute auto or taxi ride into town.
![]() For some years I used Bridge the World for our flights. They have now been absorbed by Travelbag. I'd be surprised if Southall Travel couldn't help too. |
