Flying from Delhi to Colombo

Hi there, I'm trying to plane a 5 week holiday March/April time. BA are offering pretty good value London to Delhi return and i'd like spend 3 and 1/2 weeks in Northern India. I would also like to visit Sri Lanka then for 1 and 1/2 weeks. Unfortunately flights are not cheap, what carrier would be cheapest on this route? Perhaps it would be better to try with a travel agent for a London-Delhi-Colombo-London flight instead?

Try SriLankan airlines from London To Colombo.
They seem to have some special return fares to India..Not sure if they still
exists.

DO check which airport your flight Delhi-Colombo goes from. I once had a flight from Colombo to Delhi, which stopped in Hyderabad en route. It then landed at the Domestic airport in Delhi, and as I was flying on to Kathmandu, I had to get a taxi to the International airport, 8km away, with only 1 hour before takeoff. Made it to the gate before they shut with seconds to spare by bribing the taxi driver.
