Fly to Leh

Hi

Can somone tell me if I can fly to Le (Ladak)from one of the folwing cities:

Haridwar
Rishikesh
Deherdaun

Or from any other place in this area?

Only from Delhi and Chandigarh as far as I know.

From Delhi, Chandigarh & Srinagar.
But none of the places oP mentioned.
However you can take a flight to delhi from Dehradun & fly to Leh from Delhi. But I believe you will have to stay one day in delhi as the flights to leh are early morning flights.

Dont want to open a new thread: what can i take as hand luggage on flights from/to Leh? I think i will have to check in my big and also my small backpack (any possibility to declare a small backpack hand luggage?). But what about cameras or a book?

Books nobody cares for to a point. I have heard people refused cameras and I have heard of people succesfully asking to take that on. Take out the batteries beforehand and check those in!!
