Fly in to Delhi and out from Mumbai

Flying to Delhi from the UK in January for one or two months and I want to fly out from Mumbai. Would this just be a case of buying two singles? Is it cheaper to get a single out from Mumbai once I am in India? Any knowledge much appreciated.

You can usually get "open jaw" tickets (in at one port, out at another) for about the same price -- ask your travel agent.

Might depend on the airline -- for example, Lufthansa flies in and out of both Bangalore and Delhi.

I think you don't need to buy single ticket. Most of my guest are comming through one airport and going back by another. You check with your tavel agent.

open jaw ticket

I travelled by British Airways and flew into Delhi and out from Mumbai. Cost the same as flying in&out from the same airport. Got the ticket from North South travel (www.northsouthtravel.com) who were very helpful and had good prices.

Cheers!

Delhi/Mumbai in out

I've just returned from five weeks in India and went in at Mumbai and out from Delhi flying BA and the cost was same as in and out from one or the other. Jill
