fly amritsar to rajasthan?

i've tried 4 or 5 domestic carriers to see if non-stop flights exist between amritsar and anywhere in rajasthan (other than jaisalmer). for one reason or another (server busy, poorly structured sites, or no existing flights), i keep striking out.

anyone know which, if any, domestic carriers ply routes between amritsar and rajasthan?

Stop searching, there are no flights from Amritsar to anywhere in Rajasthan, you need to change in Delhi.

What day of the week do you want to depart Amritsar?

To where in Rajasthan?

I'm guessing that overnight in Sleeper class (not air con) isn't the prefered option?

As far as I know, you will have to take a connecting flight in Delhi. Somebody correct me, please.

Delhi/Jaipur : Kingfisher, Indian, Air Deccan, Jet fly, maybe a few more

will take the train...overnight sleeper class is fine...1A/C was only for my maiden voyage!

will look into trains this week, perhaps...thanks, cap'n and steve!
