| flights to Burma from India anyone have any recommended airlines/fares? is it the same as for going to Thailand, ie. best to leave from Kolkatta? Cheers |

| Indian Airlines operate a bi-weekly(Mon.and Thu.) flight from Kolkata to Kolkata via Yangon and Bangkok. the flight leaves Kolkata at 10=00 a.m. Fare KOL-YGN-KOL RS.12500/- with three months' validity for the return. Myanmar Airways International(MAI) also operate a thrice-a-week flight from New Delhi to Yangon, on Tue., Thu. and Sat. It leaves Delhi sometime after mid-night, fare not known.
