Flights to Agra?

Does anybody know if there are direct flights from Varanasi or Khajuraho to Agra? I looked at all the airlines listed here:

but couldn't find any direct flights.

I will be in Mumbai for business and I have nine days afterwards to visit (Nov 30th to Dec 8th). I would like to visit the following itinerary:


Varanasi (JetLite direct flight from Mumbai)
Khajuraho (Jet Airways direct flight from Varanasi)
Agra (overnight train from Varanasi? I would prefer a flight)
Orchha (side visit from Agra if I have time)
Jaipur (Agra to Jaipur by car)
Mumbai (Jet Airways direct flight from Jaipur)

Check the following website -
1. makemytrip.com
2. indian-airlines.nic.in
3. www.airdeccan.net

If you don't find flights in any of these 3, then there would be none.

Firstly let me say I am so happy to find this site (thanks to the NY Times);with it's sole interest being all things INDIA !
I've been looking like yourself for a round trip to Varanasi, then Khajuraho then back to Delhi or better yet Agra.
Firstly nothing seems to exist for Agra and the rest seems only available in stages.
Surely this a popular enough route and some of the members have taken it in the past

I am not even sure if the Agra airport is back in business, although Kingfisher Airlines does have Agra on its online schedule (from Delhi). However, when I go to make a booking, the website could not find the flights nor the city.

May have to phone Kingfisher directly. Anyone else with a better idea?

i talked to hotel managers in Agra and was told that there is an airport, Kheria airport, but it's only for private jets. not a commercial airport. so you'll have to go to delhi to take an onward flight.

if my info is incorrect (as i just read somet abt kingfisher starting flights to/from Agra), someone pls let me know as i'm looking into an Agra-Hyd flight..
