Flights out of Varanasi?

I've been scouring the web trying to find if there are domestic flights from varanasi to pondicherry... I just can't seem to find antyhing noteworthy..

Anyone able to point me to a website if they are familiar?

Flights from Varanasi to Pondy operate about as freqently as Emirates flies between Fresno and Dubai, as in, never. A little hunting on the internet confirmed what I found to be true a couple years ago, that flights out of Varanasi are *very* limited. Delhi and Kathmandu are there, plus (possibly) a couple nearby destinations. So you'd have to go VNS-DEL-MAA (Varanasi-Delhi-Chennai). It's very expensive. Here's a result I found.

EXPENSIVE FLIGHT

Perhaps you ought to go by train! Or else get a train to Delhi and then a cheap flight on Air Deccan or one of the other upstart discount carriers to Chennai. From Chennai you can get a quick bus or train trip to complete your journey. Good luck!

I believe JetAir flies to Delhi daily it's about 1.5 hours. I'm not sure if they do Var>Khajuraho>Delhi or if it's direct, they flew Var>Khaj>Delhi when I was there in January. From there you can fly south. I imagine other airlines fly to and fro also, and I'm sure there are other choice destinations.
