Flights: Delhi- Kullu/ Manali

Hello. Can anyone help me with a link or information on slight scheduled between Delhi and the Kullu/ Manali airport (sorry- airport's name temporarily escapes me- starts with a B-). Both my LP and RG books suggest that I can get a flight between the two, but have just tried checking on Indian Airways, and can't find any info.

B = Bhuntur, but they still seem to call it Kullu.

Try Jagson Airlines.

I would be very wary about booking with Jagson. They tend to cancel flights right at the last minute if they don't sell enough seats. It happened to me a few yrs ago flying from Bhuntar to Delhi, i confirmed the flight with them the evening before, but when i got to the airport gates the Jagson manager was stood waiting with the bad news, but strangely there were no other passengers waiting???? It's happened to quite a few IMers if you search through the posts. Fortunately i suspected this might happen & had allowed an extra day to get back to Delhi, otherwise i would have missed my connecting flight back to the U.K. Be careful! KK

Cheers, Kullukid. Just checked the Deccan schedule, which looks a little more convenient for me, timewise, as with current plans, will prob be arriving Delhi on a flight from UK between 6am- 7am Friday morning. Do you know if there's an Air Deccan desk at the airport, and do their flights depart from the same location? ie assuming that I get off the plane from UK and thru customs by about 7.30am, do you have any idea whether I'll have time to find the Air Deccan desk, buy a ticket, get to where I need to be and check in in time for the flight at 10am?

Yes there will be an Air Deccan desk, but there are two terminals (about 5-10min taxi drive apart) You will be landing at the international flights terminal, but i imagine the Air Deccan Bhuntar flight will be from the domestic flights terminal.
It's a bit tight but providing your U.K. flight is not delayed you should be O.K. I was going to suggest pre-booking your Bhuntar flight, but if timing is tight it may be wiser to purchase your ticket on arrival, providing they have some seats left??? I imagine they will have these are not particularly busy flights. Good Luck

you can some to the domestica termincal using the free shuttle bus provided by airport management..

There are two terminals on Domestic..Air deccan uses 1 B..

There is small counter they have there from were you can purhcase the tickets..
