Flights - Agra to Khajurao or Varanasi-Help !

Trying to find flights from Agra either to Varanasi or to Khajurao beginning of April. No joy. Any help ?

You need to check the routes at these websites: Jet Airways, Indian Airlines, Air Sahara, and Air Deccan.

I would suggest -- without having checked these myself -- that you might be wise to hop a train from Agra to Delhi and take a plane from there. Jet Airways has a daily flight from Delhi to Khajuraho, stopping en route at Varanasi. I would imagine that Indian Airlines will have the same.

Air Deccan is easily the cheapest way to get around by air, but they have a limited number of routes, and I don't think they do Varanasi (and I am almost certain they don't fly to Khajuraho).

You're right jarman. I prefer by air. It is fastest. By train is around 10 hours.....

There is a plane that flies on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday from Agra to Khajuraho, it flies at 12:20 and arrives at 13:00 (US$ 90).

It is operated by Alliance Air, but I'll be damned if I can find a website for them, I think they are a subsidiary of Air India.

The same flight then carries on to Varanasi, arriving at 14:10. (US$ 115 from Agra).

Flight number is CD7407

Going the other way, flight CD7408 departs Varanasi (M, W, F.) at 14:40, gets to Khaj at 15:20 ($ 90), then Agra at 16:30.

I have an 'Excel's timetable of air services within India'.

I occasionally nag the Indian tourist office in London for a few days until they give me a copy.

That reminds me, I could do with a new one, If I start on Monday, I should have a new one by Wednesday.

Thanks to Steven for the information-I was looking for a flight agra-Khajuraho too.
BUT- I don't know how to move from Khaj to varanasi, and not by bus (too much time) ? is there any flight? please help me

I think you may have misread my post.

Flight number CD7407 leaves Khaj (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) at 13:30 and gets to Varanasi at 14:10. (US$ 90)

I fly with my wife on 2/3 by Royal Jorden via aman to Delhi.
we'll stay 2 days in Saina international hotel and on 5/3 in the morning we start a trip to Rajastan. I don't think u'll want to join us, because we ary not young. anyway, our daughter join us in the middle of the trip and no more place in the car.

Jet Airways flies Delhi-Khajuraho-Varanassi Daily---check their website at http://www.jetairways.com.

You didn't mention Delhi so I don't know if you are centered somewhere else, but if you were going to be in Delhi I might take the quickish train back and forth to Agra in a day-trip then fly the rest. I've done the overland route, Khajuraho-Jhansi-Agra, bus-train, flying would be faster.
