Flight reservation Srinagar-Delhi

Hi,

We are four friend that we will travel in norht India (Leh, trek Lamayuru-Padum) drive Kargil-Srinagar, visit amarnath cave. We will spend some days (3 or 4) in Srinagar and after flight back to Dehli. This will be about 23-25 august.

We wonder if we need to make ticket reservation in advanced or we can by the flight ticket in Srinagar 3 day before flight.

Somebody can advice us? If in advanced, how much in advaced shoud we make reservation?

Just back from Kashmir, I booked my return flight from Srinagar to Delhi just one day earlier before the departure, luckily I got tickets for all eight people. Also August is not peak season in Srinagar.

By the way, How is situation in Srinagar?

During our stay we were a little affected by the Hartal due to oil price rise, that issue is now over. Another problem now has arisen because of some land donated to Amarnath shrine board. In the past few days there was a lot of commotion, but now they have subsided too. There aren't any terrorism related problems; Kashmir is safe.
