DUM DUM to Howrah Station time

My flight from portblair is reaching DumDum at 10: 20 am. and my train from howrah is at 11:45 am. Will i be able to catch the train. Please provide me suggestions on traffic and time to reach howrah. Thanks in advance

Which day of the week is it ?
Would not be possible on any weekday . On a Sunday , just maybe , more likely you will miss the connection. Depends on the traffic.
Even if your flight lands dot at 10:20 , you need to factor in at least 20-30 mins to collect your luggage. Then you need to find a transport. For a prepaid taxi , it will take you anything upward of 15mins depending on the queue. Even if you have pre-arranged transport , you will need 10 mins or more to find it,board it and depart.

Then again at Howrah , you need to find the platform and your compartment.

Post landing you need to budget for at least 2hr 30 mins to make a connection safely from Howrah station.

Thanks a lot...It was nice of you to reply... I will be landing on thursday...How long should it take to reach howrah. (On road)... leaving aside check out time and time at howrah

About 90 mins .

If you are lucky , you may make it in 60 mins or thereabouts. There are several major intersections on the way.
