Domestic flights Delhi to Gujarat

I had made an Indigo Air booking from DEL to Gujarat about 3 months back in order to connect my morning arrival from Europe.

Indigo decided to advance the scheduled time by half hour which messed up travel schedule and thus had no option but to cancel the Indigo flight. 750 Rs lost per ticket too, and the rest retained as creditshell by this airline with poor customer service.

It would had be impossible to catch this Indigo flight as connecting time between Intl. to Domestic flight was only 110 minutes.

Note: The change of schedule was noticed on their website, and they had no courtesy to send an email/phone call regarding this vital info.

Now the next flight by GoAir is at 15:00, & layover time is 7 hours as there is no flight to AMD between 9AM - 3PM.

What a shame to waste an entire day at DEL airport......

Why can't these airline companies schedule their flights sensibly in interest of travelling folks??

There are 4 flights in the morning, 2 in the evening leaving behind each other in a span of 20 minutes.....and no flights the entire day...

Wished there was a flight leaving DEL for Gujarat around lunchtime or even before that!

According to IndGo's website, the following is a daily flight.

Flight 6E 531, Delhi 12:30, Ahmedabad 14:00.

With a current world population of an estimated 6.65 billion+ it may be kind of hard to meet all their wishes when it comes to convenient arrival and departure times, right?

The new flight starts only from 30th of March......but I am reaching there this weekend!

That's why they should spread the flight schedule inorder to cater every one

OK, I had to guess when you were flying, a month seemed like a good idea.

Same with your arrival time at Delhi, I guessed it was about 08:00, if it was maybe 07:30 the following flight may be an option.

Indigo 6E-277, Delhi 09:30, Baroda 11:05. (Rs. 2,966)

Baroda's 2 hours from Ahmedabad by train, but this becomes a really useful flight if your heading to towns around Nadiad, Annand or Baroda, I mention these towns as the vast majority of Gujaratis I've spoken to in England are from towns in these areas.

Do you think this is feasable? My flight arrives DEL at 07:45...keeping in mind the change of terminal, etc..?

Would I book the 09:30 flight.......No, I wouldn't take the chance.
