domestic flight paranoia

hello all,

i'll be in india during may - leaving at the end of may - and while my holiday will officially end in goa - i'll have to get a domestic flight from goa to delhi before heading off to foreign shores. i'm wondering if i should be worried about booking the domestic flight so that i arrive in delhi the day prior to my international flight and just stay in accom near the airport (my flight the next day is early)... are there any potential issues that could delay my getting back to delhi in time for my flight or am i being unnecessarily paranoid? thanks in advance for any responses!

I had the same worry a few months ago, as i was flying from Varanasi to Mumbai, and connecting to my flight home...I had 5 hours in between....The domestic flight was about 1 hours late...

We arrived at the domestic airport and quickly got our baggage and took the bus to the international airport...We had plenty of time before our flight took off.

I guess it all depends how many hours u have to play with...I would say if u have at least 5 hours in between, u are safe incase there are delays...

If it is only a few hours in between, i would stay the night in Delhi..

Anyways, that is what i would do!!
