Delhi Airport Accomodation

Hi all

Don’t know whether this is the right forum for this however here goes

I would be flying to Srinagar shortly via Delhi

Trouble is I am reaching at around 11pm in night and my connecting flight is at morning 8 am

Is there any cheap accommodation facility in the Delhi airport or close by walk able distance so that I am close to the airport and don’t have to test my luck getting a vehicle in morning to reach Airport in time.


I have heard that Delhi air port has AC dormitories for connecting flight passengers – is this true and if yes what the charge and booking procedure?

Any other tips or suggestions welcome

As far as I know, there are no such thing as AC dormitories at the airport.

You either have the "Airport Hotel" (right opposite T1C - arrivals) which is a passable place but expensive.
There's a humongous number of places at Mahipalpur but you'd need a taxi.

The renovated New Delhi Airport has no dormitory. There are only waiting lounges......

You have many hotels in all price ranges, on highway at Mahipalpur, just outside the Airport. Take an auto or taxi.
