Question Confirmation on ticket?

We are to guys traveling around the world on a British Airways/ OneWorldAlliance ticket. We already have the tickets, but is there any need to re-confirm them before we fly out of Mumbai?
And in that case, when and where is the best place to do that?

Dear Hansen,

First of all - Alle gode ønsker for Julen og det Nye Året !!!!!
I would recommend you to re-confirm your Ticket as it's good for you and you dont need to pay anything for it. You can get your ticket re-confirmed in any British Airways office in India. I guess in all major cities like Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras & Jaipur etc. British Airways is having their Agent / offices.

I wish you Happy Journey and unforgetable time in India !!!

reconfirming your tickets

You can do it over the phone too - no need to go to the offices. Probably do it 3-4 days before departure.

British Airways usually say there's no need to reconfirm, but there's no harm in doing it so you might as well (and my comment is NOT based on travel from India, so they might ask people travelling from India to reconf even if they don't in other countries).

Also take the opportunity to remind them of any special requests you have eg veggie meals, and to try & reserve a particular seat.
I always try to find out how busy the flight's going to be too - if you know its really busy then its worth turning up in extra good time, to be sure you'll get seated together etc
