climate in South India
Hello,
Me and my girlfriend plan on going to Kerala and Goa in april and a bit of may. I've read that in this period the south will be sizzling. Very hot and humid. Will there be any activity at all? The other option was to go up north, to the Himalaya. Where should we go best? Sweaty Russians in Goa or pot-smoking Israeli's in Manali? ![]() |

Himalaya at that time of the year, would get my vote. Most of the rest of the country, except pockets of hills or such, will be sizzling. Not humid everywhere, though.
err, there is more to the Himalaya than Manali.

In april and may goa and kerala will be boiling. Manali is a better place as far as climate is concerned.

thanks,
I know there's more to the Himalaya than Manali, but what would you advise? We're going for 3 weeks only. |

Kerala is bearable in April, but you had better enjoy tropical heat.
May... I think the PMT might be getting a bit severe. *Pre Monsoon Tension |
