Charter flights UK - Amritsar
In November, Poo Travel are starting a weekly Charter flight between London/Birmingham (+Ostend? check Schedules) and Amritsar. (non-stop)
Their prices are slightly high (the use of British crew will keep the price high), their Xmas prices are good though. http://www.poo.uk.com/ |

A welcome addition I would say, to flights into India especially for those who live in the Birmingham area.
There is a debate going on at the moment in India about the number of flights allowed into the country. The Indian tourist industry is accusing the government of over protecting Indian carriers and by so doing losing a lot of potential foreign tourist business. They are argueing that a first step to boosting tourist business is to allow more flights into the country. Perhaps this is a small beginning? |
