No idea what class we flew, in fact the plane was so small I don't think there was ROOM for more than one class. Despite it being only a couple of hours long flight we had full meal and drinks service, plus plenty of little bottles of water, and the food was excellent.

As for drinks, I seem to recall they had a good selection and they were freely available, although of course alcohol is not permitted on internal flights.

Kingfisher feeds you well

Hi, I have flown on various Indian domestic carriers over the years and in my opinion Kingfisher food is very good for airline food. No matter how short the flight is, you get fed either a snack or a full meal, the standard is very good, and almost as importantly, you get real metal cutlery!!! Jet is about the same - they are comparable in most respects.

Well, there are 2-3 companies that cater to most of the Airlines, SkyChef, TajStats comes to mind immediately.

And I have been on Air India, Jet, MDLR, and Kingfisher (Full service airlines) and honestly I do not feel much difference in the food.
