Hey guys,
As I can't book domestic flights online, because of the international credit card fiasco, I thought it'd be a good idea to pay using my indian friend's credit card details, as I do not have one. Will i have a problem when checking-in at the airport because I paid using a friends credit card? proof of purchase and all that? I read the terms and conditions on spicejet and what i think it was trying to get at is that if i provide a photocopy of my friends card it'll be ok, but air deccan, with whom i've booked 3 flights with do not say anything about it - can anyone help me? I', just a bit worried aout it! Thanks, Chris |

As far as I know there is nothing to stop you from having someone else pay for your ticket. Your friend will have to do the transaction him/herself of course. Just make sure the ticket gets properly registered to you with all your details. (I'm not 100% sure in this particular situation -- the Indian credit card enigma --, but I know I've had other people use their credit cards to get my tickets for me, what in this age of online booking and whatnot.)

I have done it couple of times..but me and my pal are both Indians.. you would need the card number, expiry date, name on the card, CVV number for the transaction.. |

Spicejet accepts international credit cards. I've booked several tickets with my Visa card with no problem.

Ive been told (by customer service people) that I needed to bring my credit card with me and present it when I check in. But no-one at the airport has ever actually asked for it. This was with Kingfisher.
