Hi guys,
I need to book a flight for 4 adults and 3 children from Goa to Mumbai on February 19th. We need to be sure to connect to an international flight leaving Mumbai terminal 2 at 01.20 in the night. I have a few questions: - How do I secure to get all seven people with the same flight? With MakeMyTrip.com and Flykingfisher.com I can only book 6 tickets at a time. Since tickets are not refundable, I do not want to risk booking 6 tickets and then not being able to get the seventh...... - I do really not want to miss our flight out of Mumbai, so I want to be sure to get Mumbai in time. Is there a great risk of delays or cancellations on the domestic flights? Thanks, Rosenberg-Larsen |

As mph suggests, book direct with the airline.
Jetlite have the latest flight (Dabilim 19:00 BOM 20:05, Rs3250 per adult) Air Deccan (Dabolim 16:25 BOM 17:25, Rs2525) and Spicejet (Dabolim 15:35 BOM 16:35, Rs 2525) have the cheapest flights. I've only checked Jetlite and Deccan, both allow 4 & 3 bookings. All the above info is easy to find using www.ixigo.com

OK - I see, that I can book for 7 people directly with some of the companies.
Is there any significant reason to prefer one airline company over the other? From the bit I have read in the forum, I think, that King Fisher, Jet Airways or SpiceJet seem most right for me. I prioritize reliability and no cancellations over low price and comfort. Any advices? |

A friend of mine has told me, that cancellations are more likely with companies like SpiceJet or the other bidget airlines. They will simply cancel a departure, if they do not think, that the plain is sufficiently booked.
He recommended booking with Jet Airlines or Indian Airlines, since they will fly even with a half empty plain. Considering the numerous departures from Goa to Mumbai, I could imagine, that some flights are not booked completely. Is that true - or just a rumour? And perhaps 19 feb. is high season, so that cancellations due to half empty plains are unlikely? |

Indigo Air is another good option.
I do not think any of these airlines cancel their flights due to insufficient bookings. Never heard of this before. |
