Best place to buy airfare?

I'm travelling to India in November, are there are places on the internet that offer low discounted domestic India airfares? The only two sights I've tried are the India Times airfare page and Travel mart. Both have good prices but am not sure how I can get a ticket delivered to me if I live in the US. Do travel agents normally offer lower airfares than the airlines themselves? Any info would help. Thanks!

There's a travel agency in Seattle called New Wave Travel that specializes in trips to India. After researching on the internet, we were able to find the best fares at the time through them.

You can also do the booking straight from some air company´s homepage e.g. from Air Deccan. They have pretty discounted fares

I´ve used them 4 times now and have 3 bookings for our next trip on November. You just print out the trip plan with your PNR number on it and that´s your e-ticket.
