Anyone used www.asia.com
Good day everyone!
I have just found some fantastic fares on www.asia.com. Has anyone used it before? I am wary about using 3rd parties like this, but it could save me $1000 on airfare! Hoping to get some indiamiker's input before I book away! Thanks all! Mya

use caution
My previous post was off by about $900 when they tacked on the fees etc... to the end of the sale. Use caution! They would only save me about $30 vs. going with that same air carrier's website.
On that note... anyone have any good tips on less expensive airfare from the US? |

my first trip to Chennai last year I used http://www.airlineconsolidator.com. My second trip in March this year I used http://www.weflyhome.com, which belongs to Lufthansa, their "discount" site.
I fly from Chicago and Lufthansa's price was about $1100, which I thought was great. of course they get ya with the taxes, etc. so it turned out to be about $1400, which I think is still a good price from Chicago. Lufthansa's price was actually lower than from the airline consolidator last year.

If it seems to good to be true ... it probably is.
I've never had any luck with those discount places ... not to say one shouldn't give it the old college try though and leave no stone unturned! ![]()

Oh heavens. I know about the "ole college try" looking for airfare!
Lufthansa is actually $350 more than British Airways flying from JFK... strange. Thanks for the link though! They dont allow you to have multiple destinations on their site either. (Lufthansa) Seems strange to not have that. We are going to be flying into DEL and out of MAA. |

Lufthansa is now our single number one choice when flying from Portland Oregon. Just one quick layover in Frankfurt. It shaves 10-15 hours from any other route.
