Hi All,
It's been a while as all i ever do is work! However, I have a 7 day visit to Goa coming up. (I know it's to short ) I have a big problem though. I need to fly to Chennai on the tues day and fly back to Goa on the wed/thursday am at the latest. I know I can fly Air India on the tuesday Panaji to Chennai btu back is proving a major headache. Price is a secondary issue however, I'm not made of money! Has anyone outthere got a suggestion. Chennai to Mumbai then to Panaji maybe. All suggestions greatly recieved. Thanx in waiting. B |

Chennai to Panaji
Try looking through some of the low fare domestic carrier web sites, just looking at one now and Air Deccan has connecting flights through Bangalore leaving in the AM from Chennai getting to back to Goa around 1300.

Take a look at http://www.tripyogi.com
It shows all the possible airline travel options in India. It doesn't show the fares yet though.
One nice feature is that the Train Search tab directly takes you to Indian Railways and the Deals tab shows the various deals from Airlines. |

The best link that I could find to establish the cheapest domestic flights (with schedules and fares) could be found on: http://www.flightorder.com/retail/

Yeah, But FlightOrder is just a scraper..
It scrapes through makemytrip.com and other sites and gives out whatever information they have.. Go to makemytrip.com and compare its results with whatever flightorder gives you..
And they are highly vulnerable to legal issues.. We don't have fares only because we did not WANT to scrape at least for now.. If we don't get fares, we will become more like a trip planner.. |

Well Mr HiRadha looks like this is the best way you have found to promote you tripyogi whatever it is.. by lashing out at others, its good that people like you write garbage about others, bec thats the best expression of your capabilities and resolve. All the names that you mention that we scrape and all that, its your whims to what these relationships are. So please stay put and think on what needs to be done, on your stuff. I know you cannot match the relationships which flightorder veterans have built over the past 23 years in the Indian travel industry.
Anyways loser good luck! and be more constructive..... and dont waste your time writing garbage, do something better |

Mobissimo.in
I see that Mobissimo just started a site for India. I've used the site in the US with so-so results, but I think it's definitely worth checking out to see how it compares to other options:

Bangalore-Bagdogra flights
Looking for flights from Bangalore to Bagdogra. Don't mind if they connect, but can't seem to find a single airline that does this. I can book Bangalore-Kolkata or Bangalore-Delhi and then separately book either city to Bagdogra, but I'm worried I will miss connections. Any advice?

Try Bangalore-Mumbai-Bagdogra in Jet airways.

Has Anyone Flown with IndiGo Airlines ???
I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere whether IndiGO Airlines has actually started up and is running, but they have very cheap prices for the end of October 2006 when I'll be in India. Has anybody flown with them or can verify that they have actually started operating?
Thanks, Greg |
