hello -I've been looking on IXIGO for flight from Goa to Delhi and the cheapest is 4,475 rs one way, can anyone tell me if on top of that I will have to pay more at the airport for being a foreigner or is that the total price.

Are there any comparison shopping website for domestic flights in India?
I am getting tired of going to each airline's website and going through pages and pages before finding out the real price of the ticket. e.g. most of them show Rs 500 as the price and later on add Rs 3,000 as taxes or service charge etc. Even the shopping engine makemytrip.com does the same. I am looking to fly from BLR to BOM and back around Dec 27th. Thanks |

Looked around a bit and fares for IndiGo, Spice, Jet, Kingfisher and Air India come up when I use mobissimo.com. Are the other airlines worth checking? e.g Jagson, GoAir ..
TIA |

for comparison try ixigo and zoomtra....but most of them will add taxes so be careful of that..
Jagson is a very localized carrier , not really big on the domestic scene at all...charters, private rentals, short hauls etc.. |

all of them show the actual price , its just a question of whether they do it before you proceed towards payment or in the search itself .....and at the end of the day all these sites are essentially the same..

Domestic flights - search engine on India Mike?
Namaste,
I'm in India, looking for a domestic flight... My first port of call is always India Mike's marvellous flight finder, but it seems to have disappeared. When I go to the 'Travel' link, it has the sentence: 'Domestic flights - Trying to figure out all the domestic carriers in India? Start here.' but there's no link to the search engine. Anyone know what the link is please? Or if its been removed for some reason, anyone know of a good comparison of flights site? Cheers, Pam ![]() |

Hi, my first post one here - wondered if anyone could help me with the following.
I am flying into Chennai next week, and want to fly on to Madurai. Would I be able to get my internal flights when I get there or would i be better to book in advance? |

Do i have time to get from international to domestic ?
Hello
I am visiting India in a couple of weeks for the first time. Does anyone have any advice on timing to get from international to domestic flight. I arrive at 2.20 am to the international airport and then have a flight leaving from the domestic airport at 5.45 am to Udaipur. Is this allowing enough time. Would I be better off to book a later domestic flight? thanks kindly |

on the face of it with 3 hours between the flights it looks ok but to be honest - without knowing which airport its hard to say (if its Delhi for example - the combination of a typically late arrival, together with a long period getting out of international then getting transport across to domestic - not too mention fog - 3 hours might be not be enough).

Sorry, yes it is Delhi, and yes I have decided to take a later flight rather than stress about rushing between international and domestic. thanks for your reply
