PNR number provided by makemytrip seems to be the ticket number on air deccan site. I printed the receive by entering in Modify/cancel section of deccan site but could not find any re-print e-ticket section, do you maybe know how to find it?

What you printed is sufficient to get you on board. I usually do the same and have never faced any problem.

Some amazingly useful new flights by Kingfisher, including...

Aurangebad - Udaipur
Jaisalmer - Udaipur
Agra - Jodhpur

Kingfisher Airlines targets tourist routes.

Booking domestic flights online

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if all this has been covered already! I recently booked an internal flight on the Make My Trip website (I noticed there's been some discussion re. whether foreigner's credit cards can be used on this site) - I had no problem at all booking an Air Deccan flight using my credit card, but I have since been told by a friend that I may have paid 'local' prices rather than 'foreigner/tourist' prices because I paid in Rupees, and that I might have to pay extra when I get to the airport because I'm a tourist. Is this true?

I'm travelling to India for the first time with my boyfriend in December for 3 weeks so a bit of novice with all this and finding it all a bit of a minefield so far to organise! This forum has been a great help so far tho so thanks for all the useful info!

I really have no experience with any of this, but no, I think you paid, there was no problem, you got the ticket.

I'll gladly stand corrected however, so don't take my word for it. How's about calling the airline to make sure?

Makemytrip.com

I just booked 2 domestic flights through the makemytrip.com website, and they charged us whatever the airline's website posted. Indian Airlines does not accept non-Indian credit cards, so I had to book through an agency.

I had some trouble with the initial booking due to the lack of service from their website, but, I eventually (after a whole week)got to talk to a live person (from Delhi) and he was a godsend! His name is Deepak Sharma, maybe you can ask for him in person to help you.

Also, because of the lapse in time from initial booking to final ticketing, one of my flights has already gone up in price, but only a difference of about INR500, so I'm not too broken up about it.

Cheers!

Thanks Steve!!! I am so glad they fly to/from Jaisalmer, Agra, etc., BUT, their website doesn't seem to support their new schedule (or maybe I'm just too duh! to figure it out). I tried to book the flight to Jaisalmer and to Agra right after I read YOUR posting , but no luck. I may have to phone them directly.

Has anybody have better luck than me?

Make my Trip.com domestic flights

Thanx for the replies, they are v reassuring. Unfortunately the phone number we have on the e-ticket doesn't seem to be working. What number did you call to speak to Deepak Sharma? Sounds like that might be a good plan!

Ta!

Mr. Deepak has better name his first born after me

On their website, they have a Live Chat line, which I can see is only for the US and Australia:
http://us.makemytrip.com/

Try clicking on their Live Chat site anyhow and see what happens.

I also have Mr. Deepak's phone number in Delhi, but you will have to pay for the long distance, and then he can phone you right back, if he's on duty.

Give it a try.
