Hello All,
Its been great to find this site! I thought I should share my recent experience on booking domestic flights from London. A short intro first; we are travelling to North India in a matter of a few weeks, so thought we should get cracking with booking some flights, we noted the following which might come in handy for other travellers. 1) it seems travel agents (including the big internet ones) will charge you double if not more than calling the airline direct. 2) we needed flights from Khajuraho to Varanasi and from Varanasi to Delhi. It seems Indian airways and Jet airways operate these routes. Unfortunately neither offer online booking for these routes(jet air cannot book the khajuraho route and indian airways does not accept European credit cards or other method of payment online. 3) we managed to book by calling and making arrangments with the respective London offices: - Indian airlines (represented by Brightsun travel agent) on 0207 565 7979 - Jet airways on 0870 910 1000 Both companies offered excellent service and prices over the phone. e.g. we were quoted £120 per person for the Varanasi->Delhi route and got it for £68 from Indian airlines. Well, hope this helps someone in the future, Best regards, Nicolas |

I am planning to travel to Chandigarh in about 4 weeks. I have as yet not been able to find a flight that leaves after 6:00 PM Indian Time from Delhi.
Also can somebody guide me on a luxury bus service that might be plying between Delhi and Chandigarh and again I would like a frequent departure service, as the train times from Delhi to Chandigarh don't fit my arrival flight in Delhi. |

I'm using a British credit card, tried entering UK and Indian addresses but it is still saying there is a problem with the card info. The card has worked fine on the Spicejet site and has plenty available credit... ![]() |

I don't think this site is accepting foreign cards still. Spudy informed me that she bought her tickets online whilst in India so I think it must depend on your IP address.

I don't believe any scheduled domestic airline flies to Agra anymore, so I think your only option is the train or driving between Delhi and Agra.

I used Nivalink.com to make my internal flight reservations, since I only have a USA credit card.

I read the previous pages and read that some of you mentioned Indiantravelite.com. Did anyone book a flight with them from outside India? Are they reliable and how did you manage the payment (did you sent your credit card number?)
I have contacted them for a flight Udaipur-Delhi and they quoted around 102€ each, tax included. Is less than what quoted by some sites. Is that possible? |

The procedure is a little bureaucratic (you have to download a credit card authorization form, fill and sign it, fax it along with front and back of the card). However, it is the only way I know of. If you have a digital camera you may be able to substitute digital photos for fax. Good luck. PS. I would strongly recommend another airline, any other airline, if the price difference is affordable. |

The site Nivalink.com appears to be only about hotels. I don't see any link to book flights. |
