Airtravel....safety........hmm m.........?

Airline travel, one of the things my life is built around.I travel for business nearly every week. Air travel is the common method of travel. But I have always wondered about these......May be you too OR can I expect some techincal or atleast comical solutions for my (may be silly) questions

Which aircraft model is the safest? And is there any safest place to sit on an aircraft.....?

Walking around the aisles a bit on long stretches seems to be common modern advice though, Brisso. Clogged-up arteries and so on I believe. (I just can never picture all the passengers stumbling about there, but whatever. With all the room provided, maybe I'll take my skateboard next time.)

But a serious answer I don't have either no. If it falls out of the sky, I guess your favorite religious work of whatever designation may work.
