Airport employees go on strike
The bid for modernisation of Delhi & Mumbai airport was opened yesterday & two companies have bagged the orders. The employees of the airports all over the country had been opposing privatisation, now they have declared a strike. Although minister of civil administration says there will be no problem but be prepared for some hassles.

The agitation has fizzled out, operations are near normal.

On Thursday we had gone to the New Delhi domestic airport and there were so many news channel vans parked there and quite a few employees sleeping in a tent in thick quilts. But yes, it seems to have fizziled out now.
