Air-India has tied-up with a number of hotel majors - including the Taj and Casino groups, Club Mahindra, Le Meridian - to sell exclusive packages in Europe and the Gulf. Goa and Kerala will be covered in the first phase and Orissa, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh in the second.
Jet Airways has extended its advanced purchase (APEX) fare scheme indefinitely, in 50 sectors. The scheme allows passengers to avail of discounts on fares if they book their tickets at least 15 days in advance. Emirates has added Kochi to its other Indian destinations of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. Qatar Air and Sri Lankan Airlines are also planning to start operations to Kochi soon. |
