Just wanted to say how impressed I was with our Kingfisher flights. We flew from Delhi to Cochin and from Cochin to Mumbai. It was great to be met at the entrance to departures by the red uniformed young men (dressed rather like hotel bell-boys) who take your cases for scanning and then escort you to the check-in counters. They are not allowed to take tips, either.
On the flights small bottles of water are issued freely along with an amenity pack and a fairly decent meal.
I think other airlines could learn a lot from Kingfisher. Shame they don't fly outside of India - I'd use them all the time.

In India, as it is in most countries, what you pay for is what you get. Kingfisher is among the more pricey airlines in India.

If you have not tries Jet Airways, you should give them a go.
