Air Travel To India During The Gulf War
We're scheduled to fly out to Goa by charter on 4 April. Originally we booked the flight as it was direct. Just been notified by the carrier that due to a change of aircraft (from Airbus A330 to Airbus A300 - perhaps because the MOD have chartered A330's for Gulf War duties??) the flight will now refuel at Azerbaijan !!
Any thoughts on safety implications?? Regards Bill |

there should be no problems, the airline should be well informed of the situation in azerbaijan and would not take any chances.
if there was a danger the airline would just find another country to refuel. it would be good if you could have a day in baku just to see what the place is like.
