air india?
I'm not just a talker, I walk the walk. I'm flying Air India on the 22nd from Amsterdam to Mumbai and will fly Air India back 2 weeks later. I will do a review of the experience. I'll take pictures of the toilets, the food and the (hopefully) hot stewardesses. I think hot, friendly stewardesses are far more important than a lot of other things. (Then again, I'm single and don't have a family/kids to worry about.)

Looks like you are writer who flies the flight!

Well, one good flight doesn't make an airline --- neither does one bad one damn it. People are more likely also to write about their bad experiences than their good; but it is interesting to see which airlines get writeen about as bad, nonetheless.
My vote for a wonderfully mediocre airline? British Airways. Food, not too bad; Service, not too bad. Mindyou, I've never been delayed or had a mid-air scare for any technical failure, so I suppose that is pretty good.
But none of the air hostessess ---err, flight attendents have ever flirted with me. On the crontrary, I find the quite bossy. One of gave us some milk to take and make tea when we got home at 5.00am --- that's worth far more than flirting!

Fair enough

Yeah I totally agree with this.

Ditto.

Yeah I've flown BA a few times and seriously I again have nothing to complain about. I think most people might just have way higher standards than I do. The only time I complained is when we had to take some Russian airline to Budapest and seriously man, the staff were just downright obnoxious. It wasn't even funny.

How about flirting and a complementary bottle of wine? That's what I got.
Love BA
I"ve flown BA on a couple of occasions and I love the warm motherly behaviour of the female FA and the easy going style of their male collegues. They must train them somehow that way.
Without even asking I've been pampered in economy with extra beers, small cointreau bottles, cookies, amenitysets all to take away "for the firther travel" and once on the plane I got an upgrade to Business (also without asking), because "well there's room and I can have another one" as the FA said.
To get back to the thread: it once took me four days to get back from Delhi to Amsterdam on AI.

i had thought that air india has gotten some pretty rotten tomato reviews, and see from this thread that it's true. but what a great price i can get from them - a savings of 400-500.00! however, comfort is important because i don't like landing in india completely knackered.
guess i'll keep searching for something better.
oh, and flirty flight attendants? well, there've been a few. and i must say, it does make for a more pleasant flight.

Not all who wander are lost
There were no flirty flight attendants when I lost 24 hours on an unscheduled stop in Bucharest.
