Thumbs up

I have travelled Air-India couple of times. Everything was fine except the toilets. Avoid using toilets towards end of each leg of your journey (Dirty and sometimes no water). Other than that you will be fine.

This is true on any long-haul flight, regardless of the carrier.

I have flown a number of long haul carriers including Singapore, Malaysia, Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, Lufthansa, British Airways and Air India. Air India was the worst by far. It was a short trip during 2003 -- Singapore to Bangalore. As tempting as their low rates might be, I'll never fly Air India again.

Check out the reviews (a whole 2.5 stars) at epinions.com

Air India is pretty ok,have flown with them 8 times, but do avoid Indian Airlines.

if you fly domsetic in India go with Jet Airways or Air Sahara instead.
