Air goa - hampi

Im going to mumbai next weekend, but only for two weeks the plan is 5 days in goa then a couple in Hampi then onto Pondicherry. Normally i would hop on a train from margoa to hampi But as time is short this time i thought id look at flying costs about twice as much to fly but it only takes 1 hour as opposed to an early early start then 8 hours on the train.

Has any done this and if so how easy is it to get up to Hampi And what about costs

Air Deccan flies Goa-Mumbai-Hubli for around Rs 4300 onwards.

There is no direct flight from Goa to Bellary.

I stand corrected. Air Deccan does indeed have a direct flight on this sector and they are currently offering a fare of Rs 9 (NINE) which adds up to less than Rs 1100 including all taxes.

thanks guys ive got the flight details costs etc
but what i was really asking about was how to get from the airport to Hampi.

My fault entirely should have been clearer in the first place

Bellary airport is 74 km from Hampi. You can take a taxi from the airport.
